 § On the roof of Europe (Mont-Blanc, 4808 m)

 

 

I received a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from University of Nizhny Novgorod (former Gorky), Russia in 2000. My advisor was Prof. Leonid P. Shilnikov.

From 2001-2003 I was a postdoc in the Laboratory of Nonlinear Systems, headed by Prof. Martin Hasler, at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). From 2004-2005, I was a Senior Researcher and Lecturer in the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at EPFL.

In December 2005, I moved to Atlanta, becoming an assistant professor of applied mathematics at Georgia State University.

I am an associate member of the Center for Nonlinear Study at Georgia Institute of Technology.

I also am a faculty member of the Brain & Behaviors Program at Georgia State University and an associate member of the Centre for Chaos and Complex Networks, City University of Hong Kong.

I serve as an Associate Editor of Int. Journal Dynamics of Continuous, Discrete & Impulsive Systems. Series B: Applications and Algorithms
