Overview

Each year, the Miss Georgia State University Competition is held on campus. The contest is open to single, female students between the ages of 17 and 24. Miss Georgia State University is an official preliminary to the Miss Georgia and Miss America competitions. The winner receives a scholarship and the opportunity to compete in the Miss Georgia pageant, held annually in June in Columbus, Georgia.
