About:

The Internet Services Registration Policy requires that Internet services devices (servers) be registered with University Computing and Communications Services. A server is defined as any device attached to the University network for the purpose of "serving" information either on or off campus. The registration process requires very specific technical information; therefore, it is suggested that each College or Department designate one or more technical staff members to register devices for their area.

The Internet Services Registration web page at http://isr.gsu.edu will permit you to register, view, update, or delete devices. It includes an export function that downloads a comma separated values (CSV) file of your registered server information. You may load the CSV file into an application such as Excel or Access for reporting purposes. It also provides an import function to register multiple servers with a CSV file.

Register a Device:

    1. Point your web browser to http://isr.gsu.edu
      1. Enter your NetWare account and password.
      2. Click Sign In.
      3. The first login will require you to update your profile contact information.
    2. In Internet Services Registration, click New Device.
    3. Complete the required fileds (those denoted with *).
    4. Click Submit.
