Before Beginning:

  • Read Wireless Access.
  • Know your computer login userID and password.
Students: This is the userid and password you enter when logging into your student email account or a campus open-access lab. If you do not know yours, visit http://www.student.gsu.edu/ for assistance.
Faculty/Staff: This is your Novell userid and password.
  • You must have a Wireless Network Card properly installed on your computer.

Setup Procedures:

    1. Open a Browser.
    2. Type in wireless.gsu.edu and press Enter.
If you see Welcome to the GSU Wireless Network you are connected. If not, close the browser and try reconfiguring your wireless card.

Connect:

Establish a personal connection to the wireless network by authenticating your userid/password through a Web Browser.

  1. Open a Browser.
  2. Enter your userid and password, and then press Enter.
You are connected to the wireless network.
