Instructional Innovation Award
The purpose of this award is to give special recognition
to outstanding innovations in teaching. This university-wide
award may be given to either an individual faculty member
or a group of faculty members. Due to the nature of the award,
self-nominations are welcome.
Nominees are to submit a brief written narrative of their
teaching, including content, presentation and effectiveness
information. During the spring quarter, finalists are invited
to make a presentation to the evaluation committee to demonstrate
the innovative nature of their teaching. The university community
is also invited to attend. Specific guidelines are available
from the Associate Provost for Faculty Development near the
end of the fall quarter.
