Submission Requirements

The Department of University Relations produces a comprehensive listing of all events and gatherings for students, faculty, staff, alumni and the general public.

A two-week notification is preferred for Web postings. The calendar is published and updated weekly on the university Web site. To see the events on the Web, visit http://www.gsu.edu/main_calendar.html

Please provide detailed information using the format below via e-mail to Virginia Brown.

Each event listing should state:

1. Who is appearing?
2. What is nature of the event (dance, concert, exhibit, etc.)?
3. When is the event? Preferably in this format: Time, Day, Date, Year. e.g. 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2007.
4. Where is the activity? Preferably in this format: Room, Building, (Street address if necessary).
5. What does the event or activity cost? If it's free, please say "Free." If it's invitation only, say "Invitation only."
6. Give as much detailed information about the event as possible.
7. Include the name and phone number of a contact person who is able to answer questions.
