News for Fall 2006:

The LRC celebrates its 25th Anniversary!

As part of the year-long celebration of its 25th anniversary, the LRC hosted a variety of special events in September. Co-sponsored by the Department of Psychology, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the LRC, we were proud to present LRC's 25th Anniversary Lecture, given by Duane Rumbaugh. Dr. Rumbaugh is the founding director of the LRC and Regents' Professor Emeritus, GSU Depts. of Psychology and Biology. In a retrospective talk on research at the LRC, Dr. Rumbaugh presented "Laurels for LANA: The Silent Elegance and Salient Admonitions of a Resident Chimpanzee."
