Education:
I graduated from Bucknell University (Lewisburg, PA) with
a Master of Science degree in Animal Behavior. For my thesis,
I studied numerical cognition in capuchin monkeys.
Aside
from my Masters, I have also studied nonhuman primate self-control,
sensorimotor ability, laterality, and biopsychology. I have
worked with a number of different nonhuman primates, but primarily
with capuchin monkeys and rhesus macaques. At the LRC, I intend
join Dr.s Washburn, Menzel, and Beran in studying and comparing
the cognitive abilities of the resident primate species.
