Florida Everglades Canoe Expedition
We will head to Florida for Spring Break but you won't find us partying on the beach: we will be canoeing the Ten Thousand Islands area of the Everglades costal islands. This are represents the most diverse and wildlife rich are in the entire southeast including 200 species of birds four endangered species, and of course - the manatee. Relax on the pure white sandy beaches along the Gulf Coast, watch amazing sunsets disappear into the ocean and snake through mangrove estuaries. Our back country canoe-camping journey will be in between visits to Big Cypress National Preserve, Everglades National Park and a few fine local cuisines. This is not an adventure to miss.
