All students attending Incept are required to receive academic advisement from
representatives of the Student Advisement Center or their college or school.
Academic Advisement will give you a chance to learn about the curriculum
for your degree program and how to plan your first semester's
schedule.
Incept New Student Orientation is mandatory for all new entering freshmen. Incept New Student Orientation is mandatory for all new entering freshmen. If you do not have the opportunity to attend an Incept conference and you are a Freshman or Transfer student with less than 42 credit hours, you must contact the Department of Undergraduate Studies and either register for GSU 1010 if you are planning to begin in the summer semester, or register for an FLC if you are planning to begin in the fall semester. Students with at least 42 credit hours may contact the Office of Academic Assistance (OAA) of your college (phone numbers below) to schedule an appointment for advisement or to find out times for "walk-in" advisement. To receive a particular appointment for a day and time to register, check the GSU website or visit Office of the Registrar's website at www.gsu.edu/registrar.
