Services OverviewUniversity Educational Technology Services (UETS) is responsible for

for instructional design and course development, including creation of
digital media course content. We provide
many workshops as well
as one-on-one support, conduct customized workshops and seminars and co-sponsor campus
events. Instructional DesignInstructional design involves meeting with faculty or departments to
establish the best way to present course materials in an online environment,
methods to enhance existing materials, and resources for both the faculty
member and the students that would augment the curriculum. Course design
is based upon established educational theories and instructional design

Course DevelopmentDevelopment is the third stage of the Instructional Design process and is the actual construction of the course. Course development is dependent on the first two stages of Analysis and Design. UETS will develop your course for you. Some of the uLearn development tasks, which UETS provides for faculty include:

Classroom Technology ServicesAt Georgia State University, many classrooms are equipped with audio-visual and/or computer technology. Planning & Strategic Initiatives (PS&I) installs and maintains the technology in classrooms in the general schedule. Classroom support is available from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Monday thru Friday to assist you in using the classrooms and resolving problems. Services Include:

or call 404-413-4357. Open Access Computer Lab SupportThe Open Access Computer Labs at Georgia State University are operated by Planning & Strategic Initiatives (PS&I). These labs are designed to provide a wide range of applications and hardware needed by the student population. All computers in the Open Access Computer Labs and the PS&I supported classrooms are attached to the campus network and have Internet access. All the PCs have an identical software configuration, as do all the Macs. Services include:
