As the Associate Provost for Academic Programs, I help colleges maintain the quality of academic programs. In addition to student recruitment and retention, my job enables collaborations across the university related to both undergraduate and graduate programs.

Enrollment Services seeks to create a student body with a profile reflective of a top 100 public research university. We attract high-achieving students through our State Scholars program. We offer online management of registration, academic records and transcripts. We encourage financial aid awards, like HOPE scholarships and Pell Grants. And we support a diverse student body with our friendly administrative staff.

Enrollment Services gives students easy access to administrative offices. Our One-Stop Shop provides answers to a wide range of questions about student accounts, financial aid, registration and admission.

Leadership development is also a key initiative for Enrollment Services. We build leaders among our outstanding students and faculty. Our mentoring programs help new freshmen transition into life at a large, urban campus.

Enrollment Services coordinates and participates heavily in the initiatives of the Enrollment Management Group (EMG), a group composed of leadership from colleges and administrative departments. This cross-functional management allows our committees to work in the best interests of students.

The Enrollment Management Group makes decisions based on the criteria of being: student friendly, faculty friendly, and staff friendly. Students are our top priority, and Enrollment Services is dedicated to empowering students to make effective choices – from campus visits to class schedules and graduation ceremonies.
