Are you developing a full suite of competencies?

What areas require more attention?

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants has published a list of core competencies for all accounting professionals sorted by:

  1. functional competencies,
  2. broad business perspective competencies, and
  3. personal competencies.

Knowing your strengths and weaknesses can help you select electives or work experiences to maximize your professional development.

Rank yourself on each competency and link to course work, employment, or other details that indicate your ability. Including the "personal competencies" is optional.
