Virtual Italian Medieval ChurchThe Atmosphere environment at right represents an imaginary church of a type commonly found in Italy between the 4th and 12th centuries. The interior most closely resembles south Italian churches of the Romanesque period, though certain elements are derived from Roman churches of earlier date. You can move around within this 3D environment using the arrow keys or the mouse. You can adjust your viewpoint by using the arrow keys or mouse while holding down the control key. Once inside the church, you will see arrows pointing to various objects. Clicking on these objects will bring up a window with more information and links to related web sites. To return from one of the pop-up windows to the interior of the church, click on the floor or on any brick wall. Created by Glenn Gunhouse. |
