Introduction to SAS
This document is a reference source for GSU students in DSc8450 who
need a general introduction to using SAS on the Unix computer called
Cheetah.
This document and most of its links were either copied from or inspired

of Arizona.
What is SAS?
SAS is an integrated system of software programs which manipulate,
analyze, and summarize data. SAS may be used in non-interactive (also
called batch) mode by writing commands to a separate file. (SAS may
also be run interactively by using the display manager or an Xwindows interface,
but these instructions do not cover such usage.)
