Considerable credit for the figures presented at the links above should be given to the authors of two freeware software programs which enabled us to translate the QuickTime animation from the commercial software Theorist, now distributed by Maple Software, to animated .gif files. Without these programs, the files could not have been made available in the way. The programs are GifBuilder 0.4 and flattenMooV and both are Macintosh software.
