Instructor strengths.

1.

Well desccriptive of course material

2.

Explains things well and will stop to help you if you don't understand before going on. Very entertaining class.

3.

The professor really helped us to understand the concepts of the course. He taught us not only the material, but the logic behind the material. Many teachers don't take the time to do this, but it really helps us to remember formulas and how things work if we know the background of the information. He was a great teacher and if i could take him again for another subject, I definitely would. Everything i have ever heard about this course is that it is extremely hard. This teacher showed me that yes, it is hard, but he also showed us what exactly we needed to do in order to make a good grade.

4.

relating to students

5.

Very knowledgeable, and ready to teach. She is a wonderful professor and helps the students learn.

6.

Was a great teacher not because she was nice but because she made economics interesting and easier to learn.

7.

Clarity, always approachable, teaching methods

8.

makes hard material easy to understand

9.

The instructor is very clear in explanation. She's very fair really helps students learn material rather than just memorizing it.

10.

Dr. Shelby Frost worked harder teaching preparing lessons, preparing and directing us to supplemental material than any other teacher I have had. It is obvious that she cares about her students and makes every effort to help her students learn. She is very creative and uses her class time wisely. She is creative--her lectures never seem like lectures...she mixes up her teaching style bringing our attention to the material we are studying from many angles which gives up a more intimate understanding. It seems she is always considering that there are several different learning styles and tries to teach and test to give equal opportunity to her students. She is not a "easy" teacher, but she is an excellent one. GSU is very fortunate to have her. I wish she taught a wider variety of classes so I could have her again. The work she put into teaching made me want to put in more effort learning.
