Instructor suggestions for improvement. |

1. |
The online aplia assignments need revision. I found the program
very helpful in advanced problem solving using the concepts we learned in
class but I found that many of the problems did not pertain to many concepts
in the textbook. I found that I missed several questions because I simply
could not read about the concept in the book. Maybe you should continue aplia
but not let it count so highly as a test grade |
2. |
Do not use Aplia to determine our grade as much. It counts way
too much of our grade and it tests on a "higher level" as Dr. Frost
said. However, how can you test someone on a higher level but also grade them
as much as a test would, when the tests are easier than aplia. all of my test
grades were higher than my overall aplia grade. If I didn't have aplia
bringing me down, then I would have an A because i do everything else with
ease...aplia is the only thing killing me and everyone else. The practice
problems are always easier than the real thing. |
