The professor was wonderful. she was very engaing and was able to relate real world issues to the students. She is one of the best professors I ever had at GSU and would love to take another class from her again!!! BRAVO!!! She was attentive to students' needs and returned material quickly. We could check our answers soon after the test which was exciting!!

4.

Instructor strengths.

1.

you know everything there is to know about econmics, which made it easy for me to learn fron you. And as much work as you made us do, I really feel that it gave me a better understanding of the course.

2.

great instructor

3.

She is a great teacher that uses examples relevant to what she teaches to help us understand.

4.

She provided many ways for extra credit.

5.

keeps the students engaged

6.

She designed a course which was technology based and made it fun to come to class every day. I would thoroughly recommend Dr. Frost to any student wishing to take Economics.

7.

very excited and happy to teach and help

8.

Good teacher

9.

Instructor made a dry subject interesting. Instructor introduced aplia to the students which definitely contributed to the comprehension of the subject.

10.

Extra credit options, communication

11.

Dr. Frost seemed excited to be in class and teaching, unlike my professors. She deserves a medal and a pay raise.

12.

Great sense of humor

13.

she's one of the best professors i have ever had. she's amazing. she really cares about the subject and her students.

14.

Knowledgable about subject matter, careful to make sure students grasp concepts, able and willing to help. Also, she has poste don WebCT practice quizzes one can complete with randomized questions as many times as they want, and she has posted tests from past classes/semesters that students can take to help prepare them for future tests.

15.

very passionate and could relate real world examples to material in the text book

16.

She is a wonderful teacher who made economics fun even though it is very boring to me

9.

I found the book to not be the clearest and often gave vague explanations. Also, there were some minor errors.

Instructor suggestions for improvement.

1.

The online aplia assignments need revision. I found the program very helpful in advanced problem solving using the concepts we learned in class but I found that many of the problems did not pertain to many concepts in the textbook. I found that I missed several questions because I simply could not read about the concept in the book. Maybe you should continue aplia but not let it count so highly as a test grade

2.

Do not use Aplia to determine our grade as much. It counts way too much of our grade and it tests on a "higher level" as Dr. Frost said. However, how can you test someone on a higher level but also grade them as much as a test would, when the tests are easier than aplia. all of my test grades were higher than my overall aplia grade. If I didn't have aplia bringing me down, then I would have an A because i do everything else with ease...aplia is the only thing killing me and everyone else. The practice problems are always easier than the real thing.

Comments on classroom environment (for example: temperature, audio/visual equipment, visibility, etc.).

1.

The projector made me have double vision.

2.

fine

3.

graphs were helpful. temperature was good. i liked that classroom (106 Classroom South)

4.

Classroom environment was fine.

5.

Nice size classroom, felt more as a student instead of a number. It was a more one on more experience in the classroom rather than a auditorium

6.

Give her class with the cam, not a projecter. In a large room its hard to read even up front.

7.

sometimes it was hard to see when teacher wrote on the board (left screen half down)
