Course strengths.

1.

The text chosen for the course

2.

This course was extremely organized and coverage of an adequate amount of material in the time allotted was very reasonable.

3.

I thought the material had a good mix of math and practial issues. I enjoyed the class, and especially taking it over the Maymester.

4.

.

5.

Excellent teacher!

6.

Easy to read book.

7.

This class was horrible, all the students were complaining to each other of how she thought this class was a major advanced mathematics course. She kept stressing how she was math major.

Instructor strengths.

1.

Her ability to connect with the students and therefore make the material easier for us to understand

2.

Very organized and knowledgable of the subject matter. Easily captured student's interest with enthusiam and love of teaching.

3.

Shelby's knowledge and appreciation for the material definitely let her communicate to us in an easy to follow/understand way. She appreciated the subject and lessons as well as her students as indivuals and their time. I would recommend her to anyone taking any economics or math-related courses taht she might teach.

4.

I've taken this course before and I have to commend Shelby. She was very interpersonal and I was FINALLY able to apply all this Econ (stuff) together

5.

Dr Frost communicates effectively with students. Unlike some teacher's boring teaching method, she can stimulate students to participate in class and learn the material though laughters and discussions. Dr Frost is professional and devoted . GSU should have more teacher like her.

6.

Very knowledgeable about the subject

7.

Very passionate about her teaching. Tries hard to give each student an opportunity to get a good grade.

8.

Mathematics- she used her mathematic skills to intimidate everyone.

Course weaknesses.

1.

none

2.

It was over too quickly.

3.

N/A

4.

Everyone got tired of her talking about mathematics and if you were not good in mathematics that it would be kind of difficult for you to pass the course.

Instructor weaknesses.

1.

none

2.

She isn't teaching another class that I will need to fulfill my degree requirements. Darn!

3.

I can only say that Shelby sometimes breaks down the subject into its smallest forms and that can be a confusion to me, but I just learned the subject from the first perspective and tuned the breakdown out. That worked for me.

4.

N/A

5.

Too much math was used in the explaination of concepts that did not really require math to be understood.

6.

Maybe too generous with the extra credits.

7.

She thought it was funny that people were flunking the class. She kept urging people to go head and drop the class.

Course suggestions for improvement.

1.

none

2.

It seems like Shelby has everything perfectly under control. I am sure she will run into some issues in the five hour course in the summer, but that is to be expected from lazy and grumpy students. Hopefully she will not let any negative feedback from them discourage her, because she really is awesome!

3.

N/A

4.

I think general algebraic and geometric knowledge should be sufficient enough in this class.

Instructor suggestions for improvement.

1.

none

2.

None at this time.

3.

N/A

4.

Too much emphasis in reading charts and diagrams.

5.

If she wants to shower people with her mathematic geniuses, she should go teach advance mathematics courses but instead she goes and teach other courses to actually make people fail.

Comments on classroom environment (for example: temperature, audio/visual equipment, visibility, etc.).

1.

Noise in Aderhold was very irritating. If it is supposed to be a new building, it shouldn't need repairing. (Obviously a waste of student fees)

2.

The lighting was a little office in our classroom. It was difficult to see the projector and the board.

3.

The audio/visual aids in the room in Aderhold were definitely an important addition to the course, considering all the graphs involved.

4.

GREAT use of the audio/visual equipment. I'm glad that Shelby used this technology that caused the student so much.

5.

Nice classroom in Aderhold . Only inconvenience is - There is noise occasionally upstairs around 9pm,probably because of some construction work.

6.

Great!

7.

Excellent environment for a night class.

8.

OK
