topic on the list below, a web page will open with the text of the lecture.
At the top of each written lecture is a link to the sound recording for
that lecture. When you click on the "listen to the lecture"
link, your computer will open your RealAudio Player to play that section
of my discussion for this session. You should have your reading
materials in hand as you listen so that you can more easily follow

are written to help you understand the content of the Longman Student
Grammar of Spoken & Written English. You may benefit by doing
the PowerPoint materials before you read Chapter 1 in the Longman
Student Grammar. For your convenience, the two PowerPoint presentations
for Chapter 1 are attached here. They are also on the CD with the other
PowerPoint presentations for the other chapters we will study this semester.
