Course Description: GEOL 4013/6013 - Structural Geology (4). Three lecture and three laboratory hours a week. Prerequisites: Geol 1121K, 1122K, and Geol 3002. Introduction to the principles of structural geology including theories and methods of analysis of stress, strain, rheology, fractures, folding, faulting, foliation, and lineation. Study of geologic maps and cross sections. |
