Whatcha Got in the Pot?

Relax. Don't worry. Have a homebrew. At least, that's what Charlie Papazian says. He's the author of
The New Complete Joy of Home Brewing
and, by rights, the Strunk(&/or White) of his craft. His book is the only one you need for successful home brewing. Just add water, malted barley, yeast & hops!

Drones Club Beer  "We endeavor to give satisfaction."
The "we" is me and my wife, Kimba. Our batches are brewed with quality ingredients in a clean, confortable environment. Attitude is unquantifiable though it does contribute to the over-all quality of the beer. Approach the craft with anticipation, not trepidation. The end result is sure to be top-shelf.

New Brew Review

Here's the spot where we'll order up a "new-to-me" glass of beery goodness. Hopefully. The untried pint could well taste like horse piss - it's the nature of the whole Schrödinger's Beer Theory. I'll brave the first sip for you. Cheers!

Hops (what else would you call a beer links list?)

Abita is responsible, not only for Purple Haze, but for the black and yummy TurboDog, the preferred beer at our wedding reception. Must be the natural spring water and the brewery's proximity to New Orleans - the Abita beers are sinfully delicious!

the perfect 6-pack

"What a deliciously debateable topic," you may say. I suppose the answer varies according to timing and taste. A springtime, hammock-swingin' kind of day is all about a hopped up pale ale, while cold weather primes the palette for a stout or smoky scotch ale. But dig, if you will, a picture of you and I engaged in a six (each) - feel free to switch out singles to compose your idea of the ideal everyday cash-and-carry 6-pack.
(Note: Send your responses with the subject PERFECT 6. Thanks!)
