    Long Distance Dedication:
    Going to a Go-Go

     Dear Casey Kasem ...
I've lived in Atlanta, GA for more than five years and I have yet to find a live music venue here that approaches the good-time easy atmosphere of my old Jacksonville Beach, FL haunt, Einstein a Go-Go. Though the club was small (a declared capacity of only 250), the 'Go-Go  gained  national reknown, as such bands as Sonic Youth, Nirvana, and Jane's Addiction came to grace its tiny stage. Einstein's much-deserved success  is a testament to the love and devotion of the club's owners, the Faircloth family. I'd like to express my gratitude, to Tammie, Bill, & Connie, for the many wonderful years I enjoyed at Einstein a Go-Go, both as patron and as employee. So, could you please dedicate Superchunk's "Slack Mother Fucker"  to the Faircloth family? I hope it will elicit some laughs and fond reflections.

                                            Thanks,
                                            Chuck L. Armbrust-Kohler

Feel free to request any juicy musical tidbits you'd like to see included on this page. Of course, your plea may fall on deaf ears. After all, I did work, for many years, near very LARGE speakers!
