Bahamas Censored Mail

There are two known types of World War I handstamps dated 1918. Seven different types of World War II handstamps are recorded. They date from 5th September 1939 (two days after war declared by Britain) to 13th December 1944. There are six types of censor and examiner labels dating from 23rd April 1940 to 11th July 1945. Covers from Canadian troops stationed in Nassau received Canadian Army censorship markings.
