Amphibian Abnormalities

STS Units
for use in the classroom

This unit investigates the burgeoning research on amphibian abnormalities and the possible linksto human-caused environmental problems:
* the evidence is mounting that the deformities are caused by either
-an environmental agent in the water where the creatures breed
-infestation of other organisms not previously part of the amphibian habitat
* The research was shared and discussed in cyberspace...the first conference of this size to be completely held on the WWW.
