Iceberg
Although not nearly the size of the
ship (optical illusion), this iceberg required careful
navigation to miss. The iceberg is slightly blue, denoting
the age of the glacier it came from. Looking back at the ship in the
Neumayer Channel from Port Lockroy, Antarctic Peninsula. Our
mode of transit from ship to shore were Zodiac boats, barely
visible on the far right. Photo by: Nydia R. Hanna, MV
