2005-2006 Service Cancellable Loan Program
The Financial Aid office received notification from the Georgia Student Finance Commission of the institution's ALLOCATION for the 2005-2006 Service Cancellable Loan Program. The institution's allocation by program is as follows:

1. ICAPP $ 34,477.00
2. Dietetics (BS) $ 4,000.00
3. Nurse (BS) $ 280,000.00
4. Nurse (MS) $ 13,250.00

5. Physical Therapy (BS) $ 6,000.00
6. Physical Therapy (MS) $ 4,000.00
7. Respiratory Therapy (BS/MS) $ 25,000.00
8. Gerontology $ 2,000.00
9. Social Work $100,000.00

Funds Available through Mu Rho Sigma Scholarship for Books
The Mu Rho Sigma Sorority Scholarship Fund at Georgia State University was established by the Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Mu Rho Sigma Sorority to provide annual scholarship support to encourage women, especially married or previously married women, to pursue a college education. The purpose of the sorority and the scholarship are to promote friendships through association with women who are or have been married, scholarship through recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement and service through working for the college or community.

Each award recipient shall be selected upon the following criteria/preferences:

1) Must be enrolled as a second semester junior, a senior or a graduate student.
2) Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
3) Must have financial need as documented by the Office of Financial Aid.
4) Must have a history of community service at the university or in the community.
5) Preference shall be given to married or formerly married female students, with priority going to Mu Rho Sigma members, alumna or offspring of Mu Rho Sigma members. Deadline has been extended to June 1. Please check the scholarship application for more details.

For N7550 Class that Meets Weekly aka "Inclass" course: The first day of class is May 31st at 4:30pm in 201 General Classroom Building. Course notes for the first day of class are now posted in the N7550 Vista course.

For Online Class Only: Class officially begins May 31st. A packet of CDs, handouts, and other information will be mailed to you via FedEx Thursday, May 19th. A tracking number will be emailed to either your GSU student email address or other specified email address.
