Hello. Thanks for your interest in our Europe Maymester program. What kinds of students participate in this policy program? The common link is that they are doers and achievers. Past students have been mostly from the fields of policy, economics, political science, business, and journalism. We have also had students from history, sociology, and psychology. Our focus is on governance, cities, quality of life issues, policy innovation, and experiencing Europe. These types of interests cut across a range of majors. These are your next steps:
I also recommend that you carefully read the itinerary and the frequently asked questions (follow the next steps link below for the FAQ page). We do not want to rush students, but please try not to delay signing up, if you are interested in joining us for the May 2013 program. We do typically fill up around this time of year, and there are important decisions to be made relatively soon. Finally, before committing to any study abroad program, you should also talk to the study abroad office about funding possibilities and make absolutely sure that there are no classes you must take that are offered during the Maymester of 2013. You do need to be enrolled in a Maymester class, and we have options that fit just about everyone, but you want to make sure that our credit will apply towards your degree. Please...get moving and make sure you do not miss out! Send me an email if you want to be informed on developments: gstreib@gsu.edu.
