Ted Poister is Professor of Public Administration at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University, where he specializes in public management, performance measurement, and applied research methods. Before coming to Georgia State 20 years ago, Dr. Poister was a member of the public administration faculty at Penn State University for 12 years, and prior to that, he taught planning and economics courses at Southern University for 2 years. In addition to teaching and research, Poister has consulted with a variety of public and nonprofit organizations and enjoys conducting professional training and development programs.
