Muslim Brotherhood (Mudayris, Muslim Brotherhood, 14, 57).
Protested the government's election fraud of 1967, even though he was a member of the outgoing cabinet. Tried to convince his fellow members of
the government to resign in protest. Refused to accept the seat he won in the parliament in the 1967 elections. (al-Nafisi, 102).
