Initial results of the 2008 elections had Abdallah al-Ajmi in 10th place. . On 17 September 2008 the Constitutional Court corrected the results, after an appeal, ruling that Sadoun al-Otaibi had actually won enough votes to win 8th place, rather than 12th. This moved Abdallah al-Ajmi from 10th to 11th place.
