J. Mack Robinson Distinguished Professor of Accountancy

 

 

 

Dr. Brown's principal research interests are in the use of financial information by capital market participants, primarily security analysts. He is the author or co-author of over 80 publications, and he has made more than 160 presentations at universities and professional conferences. He is an Associate Editor of Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance and Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, and he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Annual Conference on Financial Economics and Accounting. Dr. Brown regularly serves as a reviewer for leading professional and academic journals.
