Training and Services

Any well-developed Affirmative Action Program has an equally well-developed training and prevention program.

The Opportunity Development and Diversity Education Planning Office conducts prevention and compliance training programs for faculty, staff and students. The programs are developed using a proactive approach through presentations on issues related to equal opportunity, affirmative action, diversity in the workplace and sexual harassment.

In addition to the well-developed training sessions listed below, we offer all employees and students the opportunity to learn independently about equal opportunity, affirmative action, diversity in the workplace and sexual harassment. The Opportunity Development Center contains a variety of resources. The resources include brochures, periodicals, videos, books, and cassette tapes. The Center was developed at the request of students, staff and faculty who for their personal, academic or professional interest wanted to learn more about equal opportunity, affirmative action, diversity and sexual harassment.

We offer these resources to you at no cost.

We are hopeful that you will find our programs helpful and interesting as you work toward your goals.
