Visiting scholars Professor Aly Messallam, Professor Omneya Yacourt, and professor Ismail ElShenavy
The AU faculty were assigned office at the ECB/GSU EMBA facilities in Buckhead Hi-rise. There were two EMBA courses in progress at the time of the visit. The visitors attended both the Marketing and Finance courses. They also met with Dave Forquer, EMBA Director as well as with Melody Paris, EMBA Manager and attended the EMBA Open houses once a week.
A working lunch meeting with Dean Huss at Buckhead Club took place at Dean’s invitation.

Cultural Activities
Visited many places and attractions in Atlanta such as Georgia Aquarium, The International Olympic Park, Georgia Tech University. I also saw Coca Cola Company and CNN buildings.
Visited the GSU library and used its facilities.
Visited the GSU Bookstore.
Accepted lunch and dinner invitations from Dr. Bijan, Dr. Eroglu, and Dr. St. peter.
Had a tour with Dr. Bijan in the city downtown.
Visited the Alpharetta campus of the GSU
Made the Muslims' group Friday prayers in the big mosque in Downtown Atlanta.

Logistics and Accommodation
The stay in the SpringHill suites Marriott at Buckhead was very good. It has many advantages such as:
It is near to the Buckhead facility and the EMBA program. It is a walking distance from the hotel.
It is also near to the Kroger supermarket where most of the things one needs are available.
It is also close to "Marta" Buckhead station where it is easy to go the main RCB building.
The transportation in Atlanta is very easy, especially through subway (Marta), it is relatively cheap. The hotel is very comfortable for accommodation; it has good services, their people are very soft and deal with us very respect..
General Notes for other travelers to USA
In your trip from the Atlanta airport to the hotel in Buckhead, it is better to take the Marta "underground transportation" instead of Taxi. It is much cheaper and it is also safe.
Do not miss to see the Georgia Aquarium, the Atlanta Zoo, the CNN, the Coca Cola Company museum.
You can eat "Halal" meat in many Pakistani and oriental food restaurants in downtown Atlanta near the Georgia Tech University.
In addition, there are many Sochi and seafood restaurants around the Marriott hotel at Buckhead.
Travelers to the USA should not miss visiting attractions like the aquarium , the Centenntial Olympic park , Coca Cola Museum.
