Alexandria University and Georgia State University

The Robinson College of Business (RCB) at Georgia State University (Georgia State) and the Alexandria University Faculty of Commerce (AUFC) have agreed to collaborate on reforms that will move the AUFC Executive MBA program further along the path to genuine national preeminence, international competitiveness and self sufficiency. The AUFC EMBA was conceived and inaugurated in 2005 which is the first to be accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities in Egypt. It received modest funding for two years from the Fulbright commission and now has been in operation for three years. The RCB EMBA, which was started in 1980, has been ranked by Financial Times within the top 25 programs in the United States for five years in a row and will serve as a model for the EMBA offered by AUFC. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been agreed for academic cooperation that encompasses the EMBA strengthening activity and other broader issues of mutual concern.
