Eligibility Criteria for Application
Admission to the Alexandria University EMBA program is highly competitive. The EMBA program is a highly interactive and demanding program and given the limited size of classes, only qualified and dedicated students are awarded admission.
Candidates must have:
An undergraduate degree. Candidates should complete the equivalent of an Egyptian bachelor’s degree. The Admissions Committee reserves the right to review the academic records of applicants and to determine whether the academic credentials presented from a non-Egyptian institution qualify for consideration.
A minimum of five years of managerial, professional or entrepreneurial experience that in turn reflects an upward progression in managerial responsibilities. The applicant must hold a current middle- to senior-level management position with significant responsibility and must show a strong potential for holding high level leadership positions in their current organizations.
Although courses in business are not required for admission, candidates are expected to have a satisfactory background in communication skills, computer applications (including word processing and spreadsheets), and mathematics.
Fluency in English. Candidates whose native language is not English must demonstrate fluency in English by taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
Two letters of recommendations from superiors or professors who know the applicants' capabilities and potential for success in the program.
