Jill Frank joined faculty of the School of Art & Design in August 2011. She received her BA in Photography from Bard College in 2001 and her MFA in Studio Art from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2008. Prior to her appointment at GSU, Jill taught for three years at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in the Photography Department, at Lake Forest College, and at Dominican University in Chicago.
Frank is a visual artist working primarily in photography. Recent projects explore the history of photographic representation by creating alternate versions of images dominating the vernacular of western culture.
