Community Resources

Center Events

As a means of serving the larger community, the Center for Hellenic Studies will sponsor lectures and other cultural events for scholars and members of the broader Atlanta population interested in Greek culture. In addition, the University art galleries, musical and dramatic performance facilities, and screening room will provide the setting for events focusing on the Greek arts. Through such activities, the Center aims to bring together those seeking to learn more about the richness and diversity of the Greek world.

Learning Opportunities

Members of the community are also welcome to complete Hellenic studies courses at Georgia State as non-degree seeking students. The University has two enrollment options for those wishing to take specific undergraduate or graduate courses: Interested individuals may enroll as post-baccalaureate students, or they may audit a class without student status. Center representatives are available to assist those interested in pursuing coursework in Hellenic studies at Georgia State.
