BBA Program
Program Objectives
The objective of BBA program is to give students the knowledge for the entry and middle level management positions in private as well as government organizations, with the ability of quick career advancement through high-quality knowledge of modern business disciplines and highly developed critical thinking and multiple task management skills.
Program Details
The BBA program is designed in cooperation with Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University (GSU, Atlanta, USA) to provide breadth as well as specialization in business. The program is full time with the duration of four years and study language is both English and Azerbaijani. During the freshmen and sophomore years students are placed in English or Azerbaijani groups based on their English skills; during these two years students have intensive English language courses to advance their English skills and the last two years of the program (junior and senior) are conducted only in English for all groups.
The program gives students the opportunity to select one of the five concentrations. Students have to select their concentration at the time of entrance, but they have the flexibility to make the final choice during their junior year, and select their major from the following concentrations:
- Finance
- Accountancy
- Marketing
- Management
- International Business
In addition to the regular foundation and business courses, the program involves additional foreign language which students can select at the beginning of their course. The program offers four different languages - French, Turkish, Arabic and German and these are taught during all four years of the program.
Program Design and Structure
- The program consists of 49 (146, or 243-298 credits) courses, including 8 foreign language courses.
- Duration of each course is 45 hours (Excluding Languages), each corresponding to 3 credits (5-6 ECTS credits).
