EDUCATION FOR PREVENTION
The Opportunity Development/Diversity Education Planning Office is committed to providing effective education and outreach to combat bias at Georgia State University. This includes all development, tolerance, self-actualization and reflection, sensitivity trainings and exposure to a variety of topics and issues that address multicultural issues. ODDEP believes in the development of a set of cultural competencies that assist and prepare students for life after college and others for university living. Programs and events range from cultural acknowledgements, to issue-based lectures and forums to advocacy trainings and personal development.
