The GSU Black MBA Student Association
(BMBASA)’s mission is to promote the growth and professional development of African-American
MBA students. The BMBASA offers networking opportunities between our members
and various corporate representatives. The BMBASA also fosters student
interaction and learning outside of the classroom through professional
seminars and workshops, community projects and sponsored social events. As president of the Black MBA
Student Association, my vision in 2007 is to increase the number of active
members in the Black MBA Student Association. Currently we have 10 members. I
would like to increase the number of active members to at least 25, or 10% of
the black student body. Within this membership goal, it is also the
aspiration of this presidency to build a strong executive board. Currently
the BMBASA has three officers. The challenge is to see the addition of four
more officers to this current administration, as well as six executive board
members. Membership in the Black MBA Student
Association is open to all students in the J. Mack Robinson College of
Business. Membership Benefits: • Advocacy to increase the number of African-American MBA
