  • Jan 1 – 10, 2009 President Mark Becker and a delegation from Georgia State University including Dean Fenwick Huss and Professor Bijan Fazlollahi will visit Cairo University.


  • Dec 4 -14, 2009 - Professor Craig Ruff will visit Cairo to teach in the 3-Track program. He will also discuss curriculum and participate in talks with CFA – Egypt. He will also discuss possible certificate program with Dean Mabrouk.

  • July 4th, 2009 - Open House for Undergraduate Progam in Cairo.


  • May 2nd, 2009 - Dean Adel Mabrouk and Dr. Wael Kortam will visit RCB.


  • April 4th, 2009 - Professor Jayant Kale visited CU from April 4th to April 16th. He reviewed the Finance/Investment track of the program and held discussions with the faculty. He also met with the Dean and the President of Cairo University. He made presentation to select practitioners and research faculty. He also gave guest lectures in classes.


  • March 10th, 2009 –Dr. David Nasser, professor of Marketing in Robinson College of Business, visited Cairo University.


  • March 7th, 2009 –Faculty members (Dr. Abeer Mahrous, Dr. Dalia Khalil and Dr. Mohamed Elbannan) from Cairo University arrived in Atlanta for faculty development workshops at Robinson College of Business.


  • February 2009 – Professor Ram Sriram visited Cairo to conduct lectures in accounting and meetings with the business community including the board members of the Egyptian Association for Accountants and Auditors.


  • September 2008 – Ministry of Higher Education approved the 3-Track program in collaboration with Georgia State University.


  • June 2008 -- Dr. Fazlollahi visited FCCU and discussed 3-Track program implementation.


  • May 2008 – Dr. Satish Nargundkar conducted faculty development workshop in Cairo.

  • March 2008 – Dean Adel Zayed, Dr. Wael Kartam, and Dr. Kahiry El Giziri visited Atlanta and signed MOU.


  • September 2007 - Dean Fenwick Huss and Professor Bijan Fazlollahi visited Cairo University. Dean Huss and Dean Youssef signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in a Ceremony attended by the President of Cairo University and Head of USAID-Egypt.
