Open House Cairo University Faculty of Commerce(July 4th)

The Cairo University event was addressed by Dr. Darvish, Minister of Development, Dean Prof. Adel Mabrook, Dean Huss of GSU, Dr. Wael Kortam, the head of the program and Dr.Bijan Fazlollahi, GSU Program Director. The participants include faculty members from Cairo University, number of students from the program’s freshman year and parents of current and prospective students. The guests were invited by Prof. Hossam Kamel, the President of Cairo University and Dr. Mabrook, the Dean of Faculty of Commerce.

Following the main event, some parents met with Dr. Fazlollahi and discussed the program. Often the main concern was whether the graduates will receive a degree from GSU. They were informed that GSU will give a certificate at the end of the 4-year study - which will not be a degree from GSU. The certificate will emphasize that the last two years of study of the program were designed and delivered in collaboration with RCB - GSU.

Advertisements, invitations and banners for the Open house were prepared in collaboration with RCB-GSU and as planned. Banners were placed at the entrance of the University. The event was held at the entrance hall of the Faculty of Commerce. GSU had provided AU staff with the details of preparation for hosting an Open house, including the advertisement avenues, the target audience, and evaluation forms and Request for Information forms for the participants of the Open house.
