Freshmen Learning Communities

Freshmen Learning Communities (FLCs) offer first-year students an opportunity to get connected at Georgia State University during the fall semester. FLCs are designed around clusters of freshmen-level courses tailored to a particular topic. If you select an FLC, you will take a group of five courses related to a common theme during your first semester. You will only have to register for the learning community of your choice to be assigned to all of the classes in the course cluster. The FLC will allow you to get to know many fellow students who share your similar interests, therefore creating a small, friendly community within the larger Georgia State community. At Incept, you will have the opportunity to register for an FLC. Enrollment in an FLC is on a first-come, first-served basis. For additional information, visit the FLC website at www.gsu.edu/es/freshman_learning_communities.html.
