Overview
The Office of Student Life and Leadership is the center of student life and involvement. This is accomplished by engaging Georgia State University students in co-curricular experiences through programming, services and leadership opportunities which complement the academic experience
through out-of- class learning. The office is committed to involving students in activities that promote personal and academic excellence, community building, social and civic responsibility. The Office of Student Life and Leadership houses five functional program areas:
1) Greek Life
2) Intercultural Relations
3) Leadership Georgia State
4) Student Media
5) Student Organizations
The office coordinates the chartering of all student organizations, provides general oversight to all student clubs and organizations, sponsors ongoing events throughout the year, and manages the vehicle fleet for use by chartered student organizations. The Office of Student Life and Leadership co-sponsors broad-based, innovative programs with numerous student
organizations, academic and administrative offices to benefit the Georgia State University community.
