Overview

Chartered student organizations at Georgia State are groups of students who come together to express a common purpose, accomplish certain goals, explore opportunities, and serve the campus community. There are more than 280 chartered student organizations at Georgia State, all of which welcome new members to get involved. Every organization has a personalized Web site with organization purpose statements, contact information and an events calendar in order to invite involvement in their organization. Students who want more information on how to become involved and/or how to start a new organization should contact the Student Organizations office in Student Activities.
