ATMs

ATM Banking machines from several financial institutions are located on campus (University Bookstore Building 1st floor, Student Center 1st floor, Urban Life 3rd floor, Helen Aderhold Learning Center Concourse Level, and the Village) Details are available at www.gsu.edu/atms.

Graduation and Regalia Services

Portrait and ceremony photographs are available by appointment during the Commencement Fair, at the University Bookstore, or at the Commencement Ceremony. Regalia rental/purchase and other graduation items are available online at www.gsu.edu/bookstore, at the University Bookstore, or during the Commencement Fair.

PantherDining

State’s place to eat for Panthers on the go. Several PantherDining facilities are available at locations on campus and include the option of purchasing meals using cash, credit/debit cards or by purchasing any of the PantherMeal Plans listed at www.gsu.edu/pantherdining.

Panthers Club

(third floor of the University Center) Serves a full selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items featuring Chick-fil- A, Pounce Deli, Pounce Garden Salads, State Place Grill, Plaza Café entrees, Freshens, grab and go items, and proudly brewed Starbucks Coffee, a quick stop for distinctive coffee, muffins, and cookies.

Courtyard

(first floor of the Student Center) Burger King, Pasta Creations, Einstein Bros. Bagels, and other grab and go items.

Panther Pizza

(first floor of the University Bookstore Building) Panther Pizza features pizza and a variety of pastas, salads, and other PantherDining specials.

Plaza Kiosk

(outside in the University Plaza by Sparks and Kell Hall) Enjoy PantherDining selections in an inviting outdoor atmosphere near the action on the Library Plaza. Chips and cold beverages round out the menu for lunch at the Plaza Kiosk.

Panther Corner Cafe

(ground floor of Kell Hall) Features proudly brewed Starbucks Coffee and serves a popular menu of market fresh grab and go salads, sandwiches and
distinctive desserts.

Panther Dining Catering Services

Many types of PantherDining Catering services are available: take home party trays, student group catering, conference services, formal or informal dinners, and specialty gatherings. PantherCard

The PantherCard is the official Georgia State University identification card. It is also used as a library card, an access card to some campus facilities, and a debit card (PantherCash and PantherMeal Plans), with a variety of discounts available using PantherCash. A PantherCard is issued to all currently registered students and to faculty, staff, and affiliates of Georgia State University. PantherMeals accounts can be used in all Georgia State University dining venues. Save money while enjoying a campus meal. PantherMeals plan descriptions are available at www.gsu.edu/panthercard.

PantherCash is a debit account linked to your PantherCard. PantherCash account holders are eligible for various discounts at participating retailers and service providers when paying with PantherCash. Vending discounts are available for some purchases at vending machines displaying the PantherCash sign. Special discounts are available on Fridays for purchases made at the University Bookstore with PantherCash. Using PantherCash allows for fast, easy and safe transactions.

PantherCash and PantherMeal Plan accounts can be opened at the PantherCard Office with cash, check, MasterCard, Visa or American Express. Once your account is opened, you may use PantherCash for various purchases and transactions with a swipe of your PantherCard. Additional PantherCash deposits to your account can be made at the PantherCard Office, at Value Transfer Stations (VTS), or at Payment Headquarters in Location (PHIL) machines on campus. Parking and Transportation

Georgia State offers three options for traveling to and from campus: driving to campus and parking on-site, driving to an offsite parking area, and discounted monthly MARTA cards. GRTA passes are also available. Parking choices include a limited number of semester passes or the Budget Card for on-campus parking at a reduced daily rate. PantherExpress Shuttle services transport students to and from the University Commons, Aderhold Learning Center, and off-campus University-provided parking areas at no charge.

Parking On-Campus

Parking at the University downtown campus and at University-provided offcampus lots requires the pre-registration of all vehicles. A valid University parking permit shall be displayed and is required at all times. Individuals should register their vehicles at www.gsu.edu/parking ParkingWeb. There is no charge to obtain the initial vehicle registration parking permit. A valid PantherCard should be presented for all parking transactions. Auxiliary and Support Services accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PantherCash. Parking enforcement is a year-round
program. Consult the Parking and Transportation brochure for details as
to specific violations and fines. The Parking Registration Form includes
information on the vehicle (model, make, color, license tag number). Daily
Parking requires payment upon entry to parking areas. A Budget Card
is recommended for individuals who prefer paying on a per-entry basis,
allowing them to park in designated parking decks and lots on campus at a
reduced price per entry provided there is an adequate balance available on
the Budget Card.

M Deck

M Deck permits are available each semester on a first-come, first-served basis.They provide flexibility for student parking on campus, near several classroom facilities, with unlimited parking entries and exits during the semester.

Lofts Parking

Each semester, tenant and non-tenant parking at the Lofts is available through Auxiliary and Support Services, Parking and Transportation. There are a limited number of non-tenant semester permits available.

Parking Off-Campus

The PantherExpress Shuttle Service provides transportation to and from campus for students who park their vehicles with a valid parking permit at designated spaces at Turner Field, and for student transportation around campus including the University Commons and the Aderhold Learning Center. At Turner Field, the parking spaces are limited as to availability, and are on a first-come, first-served basis. For information regarding restricted parking dates and when the PantherExpress Shuttle and lot will not be available, or for general PantherExpress Shuttle route information, please reference www.gsu.edu/shuttle.

MARTA

Discounted and full-priced Monthly Transcards can be purchased at Auxiliary and Support Services during regular office hours. Discounted Monthly MARTA Transcards also may be purchased at the University Bookstore, the cashier’s office in Student Accounts and at the Rialto Center box office. Schedules for sales may be accessed at www.gsu.edu/marta. GRTA passes also are available for purchase.

Mail Services

Mail Services offers a variety of services including the selling of money orders and stamps, the mailing of parcels and other mail as well as interoffice mail pickup and delivery. Mail Services operates a service window in Kell Hall. Hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with general office business hours of 8:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. Rialto Center for the Perfoming Arts

Georgia State’s Rialto Center for the Arts hosts a range of performances from theater to dance to music — primarily jazz, world music and modern dance. Tickets are available to University employees and students at discounted prices. Check the latest season’s offerings at www.rialtocenter.org or contact the Rialto Center box office, which is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. Faculty, staff and students receive a 15 percent discount on Rialto Series tickets. Students may receive 50 percent off “rush” tickets the day of some performances, depending upon ticket availability. Feed Your Senses is a free learning lunch performing arts series, scheduled monthly on every third Wednesday at noon; bring your lunch or purchase a box luncheon that day. Safety and Risk Management

Safety and Risk Management offers administrative assistance and support training programs for Risk and Insurance Management, Occupational Health, Crisis Management, Environmental Health, Regulatory Affairs, and Georgia’s Clean Air Campaign. Information can be found online at www.gsu.edu/~wwwsaf.

Travel Services

Travel Agency Services are available to faculty, staff, and students. Travel arrangements may be made for business travel for University employees as well as leisure travel for employees and students. Refer to www.gsu.edu/travelservices for more detailed information.

University Bookstore

The University Bookstore, located on the third floor of the University Bookstore Building, offers a complete selection of new and used textbooks with guaranteed lowest prices on textbooks (in comparison with competing downtown bookstore textbook prices), course packs, supplies and related class needs. The lowest textbook price guarantee assures that the University Bookstore will match lower textbook pricing, for customers who present lower pricing among competing downtown bookstores to authorized University Bookstore personnel. The University Bookstore also buys used
textbooks with a guaranteed 50% buyback on selected textbook titles. Officially licensed Georgia State University apparel and gifts are sold in the University Bookstore. Purchases can also be made online at www.gsu.edu/bookstore. Cash, credit cards, checks and PantherCash are accepted for purchases with special discounts available on Fridays for purchases made with PantherCash.

University Printing and Copy Services

Located on the parking level of the Urban Life Building, University Printing and Copy Services offers a full range of services, including fast black and white copying; color copying; offset printing; color printing of newsletters, brochures and posters; faxing; and folding, cutting, binding, etc. Work may be completed from printed originals or from electronic media such as diskettes and CDs. Accepted methods of payment include PantherCash, cash, check, major credit/debit cards and interdepartmental charge cards. Numerous self-operated copy machines are available in the University Library, located on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors and in the Law Library Copy Room. In addition, copiers are available in the Aderhold Learning Center Concourse Level, Library South (2nd floor), and Mail Services in Kell Hall. Vending

Vending machines, available in several locations across campus, offer canned/bottled beverages, including a large selection of popular brands; coffees and hot chocolates; and a variety of snack items. Cash is accepted at all vending machines with PantherCash also accepted at most vending machines. More information is available at www.gsu.edu/vending. PantherCash discounts are available on select vending beverage machines..
