Overview

Known as the campus place to study, eat, attend meetings and learn about campus life, the Student*University Center is centrally located and convenient for many of Georgia State’s students and faculty. With a mission to enhance the quality of student life, to facilitate a sense of community, and contribute to the learning environment, the Student*University Center hosts more than 5,000 programs each year and 18,000 guests daily. With over 28,000 square feet of meeting room space, including a 425-seat auditorium and spacious ballroom, the Student*University Center continues to be the hub of campus involvement.

The Student*University Center also serves as home to many student services offices including the Student Government Association, Spotlight Programs Board, Student Life and Leadership, University Housing, New Student Programs, Community Services, Disability Services, African-American Student Services and Programs, Office of the Dean of Students, Digital Aquarium Computer Lab, Student*University Center Administration, and Student*University Center Reservations. The Student*University Center also hosts student organization offices, fraternity and sorority chapter rooms, WRAS-FM, Rampway, Signal, GSTV, Cinefest Theater, Panther Place Lounge, Campus Club food court, Honors Program, and University Career Services.

  • Spotlight Programs Board – student-run group that presents films, lectures, concerts, cultural programs, Panther Prowl and Homecoming.
