Introduction:
would be fun to include in your present
Field Day? The Physical Education
Teacher wants the
help of the students to come up with a new plan for Field Day!
Good Luck and Have Fun!
be discussed.
What is to be included in the discussion is as follows: how many days,
what
activities, water stations, first aid stations, etc.
Will you need volunteers, what things will
you need donated.
Once the group decides what they want included they need to put it all
together in a simple plan. The
group will also decide what equipment will be needed for each
activity, along
with the rules for each activity.
Process:
Have each person in your group interview 10 other students and record
what types of
activities they would enjoy on Field Day.
Try to categorize the information you have gathered. This will help narrow your search.
Discuss time frames with your teammates.
How long will Field Day last? How
long will
each activity last?
Decide with your teammates what size groups the activities will call for.
Large groups?
Small groups? Individual
activities?
Need to use
Word Perfect of Excel to print out schedule for the day.
When you have discussed all of the above issues and analyzed your data
collection, you
will be ready to begin your search using the RESOURCES below.
