History

Civitan International is a volunteer service organization. Organized in 1917, Civitan now has 50,000 men, women and young people in clubs throughout North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Campus Civitan is a program of Civitan International, which offers college students the opportunity for personal development and a better understanding of the value of community service.
At Georgia State University, Campus Civitan engages in a variety of community service projects all year long. The club offers the members a relaxed atmosphere in which to do community service on campus or in the local area.
